Mahalakshmi Ashtakam is a short Sanskrit hymn of eight verses in which Indra praises Goddess Mahalakshmi. Every verse ends with "Mahalakshmi Namostu Te", "O Mahalakshmi, I bow to you", and three closing verses describe the merit of reciting it.
