Dashrath Shani Stotra

दशरथकृत शनि स्तोत्र

The Dashrath Shani Stotra is a Sanskrit hymn to Shani Dev that the Padma Purana places in the mouth of King Dasharatha, father of Shri Ram. In ten verses beginning "Namah Krishnaya Nilaya" he salutes Shani by his many names and forms, and Shani, pleased, promises to spare those who recite it. Devotees chant it on Saturdays and during sade sati.
