Dadyad Dayanupavano Dravinambu Dharam दद्याद्दयानुपवनो द्रविणाम्बुधाराम्
Asminn Akinchana Vihanga Shishau Vishanne अस्मिन्नकिञ्चनविहङ्गशिशौ विषण्णे।
Dushkarma Gharmam Apaniya Chiraya Duram दुष्कर्मघर्ममपनीय चिराय दूरं
Narayana Pranayini Nayanambu Vahah नारायणप्रणयिनीनयनाम्बुवाहः॥
Meaning
May the rain cloud of the eyes of Narayana's beloved, driven by the wind of compassion, pour a stream of wealth on me, this poor and weary fledgling, and drive the heat of my bad karma far away for ever.

Why this verse matters
