Contact us

The best way to reach us is by email. Please write in English, Hindi, Telugu or Tamil.

Email

corrections@getnitya.com

We do not have a phone line or an office open to visitors. Email also gives us a written record of every correction.

What to write to us about

  • An error in a text, a meaning or a festival date
  • A question about a text or how to recite it
  • Reviewing texts, if you are a scholar, a priest or a trained reciter
  • A copyright concern
  • A privacy request

How we handle corrections

  1. Send the page link and the verse number, and say what you think is wrong. A source, such as a printed edition, helps a lot.
  2. We check the report against at least two reputable sources.
  3. If the error is confirmed, we fix it and record the change in the public corrections log.

On every text page you can also use “Report an error”, which opens an email with the page already filled in.

When to expect a reply

We aim to reply to error reports within 48 hours, and to other messages within a week. Questions about a festival date get priority in the days before the festival.
