Disclaimer
Nitya helps you read, recite and understand Hindu devotional texts. This page sets out what we do and do not claim.

Devotional and educational
Everything on Nitya is offered for devotion, study and learning to recite. It does not replace a guru, a family priest or your own tradition.
Traditional interpretation
Our meanings follow the traditional understanding of each text. Different sampradayas and families may read a line differently, and we do not take sides in sectarian questions. The meanings are AI-assisted drafts until a scholar reviews them, and every text page shows how far it has been checked.
No promised results
When we mention the benefits of a prayer, we describe what tradition says. We do not promise any result, material or spiritual.
Not medical or astrological advice
Nothing on Nitya is medical, psychological, astrological, legal or financial advice. For health, please see a doctor. For muhurat, horoscope or remedies, please ask a qualified priest or astrologer you trust.
Festival and vrat dates
Dates and timings can differ by tradition (for example amanta or purnimanta months), by region and by local sunrise. We name the source or the method for every date we show. When in doubt, follow your local temple or family priest.
Recordings, ads and links
Recordings come from YouTube channels we did not make, and ads and outside links belong to others. Showing them does not mean we endorse them.
