These plans follow the festival calendar. Start on the first day, or any day you like.

All plans

  1. Hanuman Chalisa for 40 Days

40 days · about 8 min each time · Most kept

Recite the Hanuman Chalisa every day for forty days, once, seven times or eleven times a day. It takes about eight minutes for one recitation, and Nitya keeps your place on this phone.

  2. Navratri: Nine Nights with the Goddess

9 nights · about 17 min each time

One short sitting each night of Sharad Navratri: the Durga Chalisa and the aarti Jai Ambe Gauri, with Lakshmi and Saraswati joining in the middle and last three nights. Each night names the form of the Goddess honoured that day.

  3. Kartik Month: 30 Mornings and Evening Diyas

30 days · about 6 min each time

A gentle month of Vishnu and Lakshmi prayers each morning, and a diya lit at dusk each evening, from Sharad Purnima to Kartik Purnima. Most mornings take under ten minutes.

  4. The Five Days of Diwali

5 days · about 8 min each time

One short recitation for each day of Diwali, from Dhanteras to Bhai Dooj: Kubera and Lakshmi, Hanuman on Choti Diwali, the full Lakshmi Puja set, Krishna on Govardhan Puja, and a closing prayer on Bhai Dooj.

  5. Four Mondays for Shiva

4 Mondays · about 10 min each time

Four Monday sittings with Shiva, kept as the Mondays of Shravan in North India and the Karthika Somavarams in Telugu homes. Each Monday has one stotra and the aarti Om Jai Shiv Omkara.

  6. Seven Mornings: A Simple Daily Sandhya

7 days · about 2 min each time

A week to build a morning habit: Ganesh first, then the Gayatri Mantra, then a short text for the deity of the day. Five to ten minutes each morning, before the day takes over.
